
The Goddesses of Belly Dance
Do you want to celebrate your femininity, learn new
beautiful sexy movements, tone your body, build self-confidence, and have fun?
Join our group for the 1&1/2 hour Sunday night Belly Dance class.
We start with stretching/moving meditation warm up
following by precise break-downs and explanations of technique, exercise drills
and dance choreography. Aromatic green tea is served at the end of our class
for nourishment and relaxation.
Belly dancing is natural to a woman's bone and
muscle structure with movements emanating from the torso rather than in the
legs and feet. The dance often focuses upon isolating different parts of the
body, moving them independently in sensuous patterns, weaving together the
entire feminine form. Belly dancing is performed barefoot to emphasize the
intimate physical connection between the dancer, her expression, and Mother
Earth.
All ages and all body types are welcome! Since no
males or children are allowed, nothing will distract our journey to self
enjoyment and celebration. Beautiful clothes are encouraged, belts are
required.
